Welcome to Blindly. By accessing or using our mobile application, website, and associated services (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read them carefully. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.
Blindly is a "personality-first" dating platform. By creating an account, you acknowledge and agree to the following core mechanics of the Service:
Attempting to bypass, reverse-engineer, or circumvent the visual blurring mechanics or message threshold algorithms is a strict violation of these Terms and will result in immediate account termination.
You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account on Blindly. By creating an account through Google Sign-In, Apple, phone number, or email, you represent and warrant that you meet all eligibility requirements. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
Blindly requires users to rely heavily on text and voice communication prior to visual reveals. Therefore, we maintain a strict Zero-Tolerance Policy regarding harassment. You agree not to post, upload, or transmit any content (including text messages, voice notes, and profile photos) that:
Note on Moderation: Our backend architecture utilizes automated filtering algorithms on chat services and voice prompts. We reserve the right to review, block, or delete any content or account that violates these Terms without prior notice.
You retain ownership of the content you upload to Blindly (including your voice prompts, photos, and messages). However, by uploading content, you grant Blindly a worldwide, transferable, sub-licensable, royalty-free right and license to host, store, use, display, and process that content for the sole purpose of operating, developing, and improving the Service (such as processing through our Machine Learning recommendation engines).
Blindly may offer premium features (e.g., "Peek" tokens, Super Notes, read receipts) for purchase. All purchases made through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store are subject to their respective payment terms. Virtual items and tokens have no real-world monetary value and cannot be exchanged for cash.
You may delete your account at any time within the app settings. Blindly executes "hard deletions," meaning triggering a deletion will permanently batch-delete your matches, real-time conversations, notification tokens, and historical data from our cloud infrastructure.
Blindly reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account immediately, without notice, if we believe you have breached these Terms.
Blindly provides the Service on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
Offline Interactions: Blindly is not responsible for the conduct of any user on or off the Service. You agree to use caution in all interactions with other users, particularly if you decide to communicate off the Service or meet in person.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Blindly operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
